This is a short video outlining how staff and students can use Second Life to support teaching, learning and collaborative working.

This video (created by Claudia Kimbrough) shows the use of Second Life in two College of Management courses. This innovative teaching and learning environment is a part of NC State University's LITRE (Learning in a Technology Rich Environment) program and a part of VOLT: Virtual Online Learning and Teaching, a comprehensive, collaborative project on online learning led by Len Annetta.

This Youtube was developed by Chris Keesey at Ohio University. I met him as the 2009 Sloan C conference. This video was designed to promote the use of second life at the Ohio University Second Life Campus; a virtual campus featuring multiple learning and collaboration opportunities for students on the Ohio campus and all over the world. This is a short video that adminstration should look at as it recommends that online courses be developed by a team of 3 and 2 should be content experts. I wonder how often this happens in distance education or for in class on campus courses. Truely a good recommendation to have a quality product. Many first taught online coures are meager at best and faculty should become content experts in an area and allowed to teach the same course over a number of years in order to develop an online course toward the rubric.
