The elements we describe in the pages that follow give you a great deal to consider in constructing your story. We emphasize our storytelling process in a group setting because we believe that most of us do not just read a book and do the work. If you are reading this disassociated from some group process, we strongly suggest you go find at least one collaborator or fellow storyteller. Storytelling is meant to be a collaborative art. It is much more realistic this way, and much more fun.

Simple Lessons in Saving and Borrowing Money
Bank Jr. is an educational banking website designed for elementary school students. I discovered Bank Jr. through Donna Murray's excellent blog. Bank Jr. is an interactive website on which students can learn the in's and out's of banking. Bank Jr. has a glossary of terms, a help center, and savings wizards. Bank Jr. also provides students with a history of money and a look at how different countries use money. The teachers section of Bank Jr. provides an extensive glossary of terms and some lesson ideas. Bank Jr. does not provide full-length, detailed lesson plans, but it does provide PDF's of worksheets and handouts that teachers may find useful for teaching banking lessons.

From the articles I've been reading on teacher PD for ICT, there appears to be a clear message.
* To achieve positive learning outcomes, PD is crucial.
* PD must be continuous and address particular needs of individual teachers.
* The traditional model for PD (one-off, one day courses) is bunk as it doesn't provide on-going support.
* The focus on skills is a distraction from the main-game, pedagogy.
