Adam, I'm so excited that you joined us at the High Calling! :) I work at a non-profit as a community liaison for refugee resettlement, and some of my best friends are ESL teachers for our recent arrivals. I am excited to read more about the things that you're passionate about, and look forward to interacting with you in the network.
Wonderful post! Thanks for sharing your journey, and for joining the High Calling network. I pray you'll find it a warm, encouraging, and challenging place to be.
I love the way you captured the strain and stress of married life. And I like this especially: This beast loves undivided attention. getting taken on adventures, being held in embrace. These things soothe her, make her more manageable.
It is so true-that without Christ, we wouldn't have a prayer (literally!). :) Thanks for this, and for joining The High Calling Network.
I think gratitude is such an important blessing. Kudos for keeping it up and for encouraging others to start! :) And welcome to The High Calling blogs network. We look forward to getting to know you.
I love that commercial! I agree that they were hitting on all cylinders. Maybe it's because I have a couple of mini Darths of my own. :)
Welcome to the High Calling network. I look forward to hearing your insights as you participate.
I so agree about your view on Christian art. For years, it has irritated me that Christian music seems to copy the world-just wait, soon (it may have already happened) a Christian label will sign a Justin Bieber clone. :)
Thanks for your refreshing remarks! I'm not a metal-head, but your post makes me want to read the book, anyway.
Welcome to The High Calling network, by the way. We're glad to have you on board and hope you find a group of like-minded believers there. I know I have!
I know how you feel. I once had a microwave for WAY too long. It still ran, right?! :) It's really good to find you through THC...and look forward to reading your comments, posts, etc., as you have time to participate.
I love this! Thanks for sharing it. Our family has a mission statement and it's been so helpful. Welcome to THC! We look forward to getting to know you better.
What a sad statement! I can only imagine how his children felt about their father's dedication to the game…
