Wow. I am so floored by the life you're leading. I work with refugees and know that those who died were refugees trying to escape persecution. Any how, I adore the title of your blog (such a neat picture, too) and I absolutely think your boys are going to grow up to be extraordinary men. Thanks for sharing a little of your life with us at The High Calling. I look forward to reading more!
I've been reading Ann's book, and it is so challenging and encouraging. I agree-it's life-changing. We're glad you're recommending it, and we're glad you've joined her-and us-in the High Calling network. Here's praying that 2012 brings you lots of joy, "SEEING," and gratitude!
Congratulations on your baby…and you're he High Calling. We so right, a baby changes absolutely everything…in the best way(s). We're glad you've joined us at The High Calling. We have a lot of resources for you to use in parenting, work, and your faith journey. With a baby coming, we pray (and expect) 2012 will be your best year ever. :)
Congrats on the success you've had in 2011. I pray you'll see lots more blessings in 2012. And thanks for joining the community at The High Calling. We are glad to have you!
How I adore this song! :) One of my husband's old college buddies, Chris Rice, wrote it, and my favorite words are the last chorus. Stunning stuff. Thanks for reminding me of "Welcome to our World" today. And by the way, welcome to OUR world of The High Calling (I know that's extremely cheesy-but I couldn't resist!). We're glad to have you!
Thanks for these resources. I'll definitely have to check out the Nativity Lego instructions. And thanks for joining The High Calling. We're glad to have you! :) Let me know if you have questions about how to get involved. I'll be emailing you shortly with more info. Blessings on your Christmas week!
I'd love to get a masters' degree. And get a children's book published. I have a lot more, but I'll leave it at that. By the way, welcome to The High Calling. We're so glad you've joined our community and hope you find inspiration and encouragement. :)

This is my prayer, too: I pray that the people who knew me when will marvel at what I grow into. Or I should say, what He grows me into.
Me too! Thanks for joining the High Calling network. I look forward to reading more of your writing.
Such a beautiful story. I loved the quote about your prayer being better than a bus ticket. Who knows? This man may have not just been an angel, but the Lord in disguise
I am so glad someone is talking about this, in a public forum. I've been in both kinds of jobs--those where my worth has been extremely valued, and those where I've felt like a business expense. In the first, benefits were offered (not just wages, as you accurately said) which made me more loyal. In the latter, I felt used, abused, and cranky. God's wisdom ALWAYS trumps the world's. Always. Thanks for posting this, and for joining The High Calling. We're so glad to have you aboard!
I have fallen flat on my face more times than I can count, when I've relied on myself (or the world) instead of God. Thanks for the reminder to find my balance in Him. And thanks for joining The High Calling. We're really glad to have you!
I love your message. It's so needed! I'm glad you are speaking the truth, unashamed. We have been bamboozled. Keep after it--and thanks for joining the High Calling. We're really glad to have you in the community!
'm so glad you've linked up with The High Calling! I love your photos and your blog, and hope that you'll find our community a warm place to "hang out" and to find encouragement and inspiration. You are obviously very talented and creative-so I think you'll find some kindred spirits at THC. Welcome!
