Synchronous learnIng refers to a learnIng event In whIch a group of students are engagIng In learnIng at the same tIme. Before learnIng, technology allowed for synchronous learnIng envIronments, most onlIne educatIon took place through asynchronous learnIng methods. SInce synchronous tools that can be used for educatIon have become avaIlable, many people are turnIng to them as a way to help decrease the challenges assocIated wIth dIstance that occurs In onlIne educatIon.

I agree that as we contInue, learnIng wIll become more InteractIve, usIng all types of tech tools to enable students not only to learn In the classroom, but as onlIne learners also.

Furthermore, Howard Gardner's learning styles are discusses as well and his theory of Multiple intelligence. Finally, the main characteristics of the Web 2.0 learners are summarized. in addition to theories of multiple intelligences and learning styles there are issues related to learner personalities. The widely accepted traditional model of education too often fails to consider all these areas. This a great (free) Pharmacology Open Education Resource (OER) for any nursing faculty. i have utilized this in my classes and my students have reported positive feedback on this resource. The e-book also has interactive case studies that i have implemented too. The same company is developing a Fundamentals nursing book (OER) that is set to launch later this summer.

This is a really easy program to create videos/screencasts. You get a link that you can post in course emails/announcements/assignments/syllabi, etc. it doesn't caption yet but i have put in the request for this feature. i use the free version.

I found thIs artIcle helpful by dIspellIng the myth of teachIng math wIth onlIne and tech tools. I keep gettIng resIstance and some of It Is mIne.

This is a great music theory tutor/reference/resource. i recommend it to all of my colleagues, as well as my students. Using the site is free.

Many regard Twitter as quite a useless social media sharing portal. Some have this negative opinion, mainly because of the fact Twitter allows you to "tweet" or post only 140 characters in length. This length equals the text of a regular SMS, and for some this is simply not enough.

I found a good lIst of how one teacher uses TwItter In the classroom. Personally, I love the Idea of a hashtag for a specIfIc class.

I would recommend thIs IT artIcle and others just as a food for thought, concernIng the educatIon for students. That If every school spent thIs amount of money Into technology. Technology In teachIng Is goIng to keep advancIng sInce It has been made room In budgets sInce covId-19, teachIng wIll keep growIng wIth technology.
