    The Studio Jams youtube channel is a promo channel for the line of Studio Jams DVDS, but is filled with many modern covers of classic tunes, all played by professional musicians in a professional studio. A great resource for examples of jazz/fusion musicians really plying their craft.

    This conservatory trained bass player has a great modern take on jazz and performance. He goes out of his way to share his expertise in short videos that have a passionate delivery and lively editing. Many of his videos are about jazz theory and music theory, but he does Q&A sessions as well.

It contains videos of a common song being recorded by musicians all over the world on a variety of different world instruments. Great resource for world music drumming. Many videos are free, but some require a subscription now.

    This YouTube channel is a great resources for jazz educators in both a private and ensemble setting. The videos cover the whole jazz orchestra, providing videos of technique as well as ways to develop students' improvisational skills.

    Jazz Academy is a YouTube library with free lessons on jazz for educators and students. Lessons range from the instrument specific techniques, jazz history, master classes with professional musicians, and lessons on different styles of music. From these videos, students receive important information from professional jazz musicians. As a jazz educator, there are also videos that improve my understanding of specific techniques and styles.
