This page is great for younger beginners (elementary age) in orchestra.  The violin fingering chart is very colorful and easy to read.  The site includes lists of music for each instrument and performer bios.

This site is great for finding flash cards for all of the string instruments. Front and back flash cards are able to be printed from a PDF format. The notes are big enough for students and also has the fingerings as well as the notes written on the back.

With this app, you can take videos of class and, similar to Zaption, guide the students through the what you are seeing and hearing as and educator. You can talk over the recording as well as use a stylus or your finger to circle or point out things that are good or bad about what you see. It's a great way to give more concrete feedback to students.

Tonal Energy provides individualized instruction and videos for band and orchestra students. Each instrument is listed and linked to a fingering chart, exercises, scales, instrument care, and videos of professional artists. The website also has a place for discussion between other musicians, teachers, and students. One of the best items about Tonal Energy is the tuner App. The TE Tuner provides a visual representation beyond the original needle and shows the students proper intonation through a smiley face and colored circles.

This makes me seriously want to reconsider learning guitar. I'm not gonna lie, as a pianist, I had a horrible time with the guitar in my undergrad methods course. My piano fingers just didn't want to do what the guitar needed them to do. This piece of technology could be a game changer.
