In Paris, child-friendly café keeps kids entertained - Springwise - 0 views

  •
"Most restaurants that claim to be "kid-friendly" walk a fine line between being *too* kid-friendly-and turning off parents in the process-and being not quite kid-friendly enough, simply tacking a few fast-food dishes onto their menus as an afterthought. Aiming to better serve both parts of the family, French Les 400 Coups offers seasonal fare for both adults and children along with events and activities to keep kids happy."

First Bank DOOH execution - Tire your kids out before they fly. - 0 views

  •
I hope there's a hand sanitizer station posted nearby this interactive campaign. FirstBank launched an outdoor campaign at the Denver International Airport with one objective. "Tire your kids out so they sleep on the plane," reads a plexiglass rotating signboard. Below that are kid-sized handprints with instructions stating, "Have children place hand here." The signboard makes one revolution every 30 seconds. Who knows how many times a kid will walk around this signboard? See creative here and here. TDA Advertising & Design created the campaign and handled the media buy.

Media Chaperone's Piggyback lets parents monitor kid gamers on Facebook | VentureBeat - 0 views

  • The audience for social networks is getting younger and younger as more children are drawn to the cute social games that have become the most popular form of entertainment. So Media Chaperone has created its Piggyback app for Facebook that lets parents stay in the loop with their children’s online socializing and gaming activity. Chicago-based Media Chaperone said its software will help allay parents’ concerns about safety on the social networks. (Facebook doesn’t allow kids on its social network, but somehow they manage to get on there anyway, often through accounts created by parents).

The Most Imaginative Social Good Campaigns - PSFK - 0 views

  • Macy’s “Believe” campaign draws on the famous 19th-century newspaper editorial that proclaimed, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” and said he “exists as certainly as love and generosity.” The campaign, created by JWT, New York, benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Children write letters about why they believe in Santa and drop them in R.H. Macy Santa mailboxes; Macy’s donates $1 for each letter, giving $1 million both in 2008 and 2009 to Make-A-Wish for the first million letters it received.

2011: Second Wave of Children's Mobile Apps Is Coming - 0 views

  •
Children's apps to date have generally been simple and sometimes not of good quality.  Now we are beginning to see the release of apps where work began around the same time, but developers took more time to make the app more sophisticated and based on interesting concepts.
