Cycling is one option for any man or woman who wants to start physical fitness program. Just like any other form of exercise, taking part in it requires commitment and motivation. Cyclists do have some options when riding. For instance, you could ride outdoors locally, or take a special tour down the coast. You can participate in a cycling class at a club with others, or do it from home.

I recently attended a team building program in Chicago. 130 participants from a major financial lending institution came together to take part in a team building activity to help build teamwork, relieve stress, and give back to the community. I was overwhelmed by the amount of energy and excitement that took over the room when they learned that the bikes they were about to build were going to be donated to underprivileged kids from the local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Be rewarded for cycling? That sounds tempting, right? May 2016 sees the launch of the first test phase of Bike Benefit program in Vienna, Graz and Bremen - supported by the Integrated Applications Promotion programme of the European Space Agency (ESA). The participants can cycle their way to great coupons and discounts from local businesses. With this project, Bike Citizens hopes to create incentives to help motivate more people to cycle in the city.
