AAUSC works to: promote, improve, and strengthen foreign language and second language instruction in the US; to strengthen development programs for teaching assistants, teaching fellows, associate instructors, or their equivalents; to promote research in second language acquisition and on the preparation and supervision of teaching assistants; and to establish a forum for exchanging ideas, experiences, and materials among those concerned with language program direction.
The Edible Tour is designed for use as a tool for members of the Caltech Community to become aware of the abundance of edible plants on campus and how they can use those plants. The Google Earth link allows users to find the locations of all the edible plants on campus and gives a description of the plant, its edible uses, and its medicinal uses (if any).

The FLAD is a free, searchable directory of information on nearly 200 tests in over 90 languages. The FLAD serves as a starting point for teachers and educators to search for foreign language assessments. Available information about assessments includes grade and proficiency levels, languages for which each test is available, skills targeted by a test, information about the test's development and the publisher's or developer's contact information for further inquiries.

ASC offers both hardware- and software-based lab solutions. ReLANPro is the name of their software-based model. A recent press release says it is now Mac-compatible, but the tech specs page details: MAC lab * Boot Camp is required * Boot Camp requires a Mac with an Intel processor and Windows XP Service Pack 2.
I have previous experience at two schools with ASC Direct, and we have not been impressed with their customer service.

Al-Khazina is an interactive database for the study of Islamic Culture, particularly in the early centuries. We developed it for use in university courses on a wide range of topcs in Islamic civilization,and from introductory through advanced levels.
At present there are 2 Italian tests you can choose from.
