this is something i came upon while working on my project, this orchestra uses pure data, msi wind netbooks, linux, and wiimotes. Their website has more info. you can download the custom linux distro, and pure data objects there.
there is a link to their site in the article but here it is again:

here is something interesting to help flesh out ideas when coding, its a visual add on for processing that lets you use diagrams to help you figure out coding, kind of like a sketchpad.
here are some things that have been on my hdd for a while.
the hacking manual:
this is the early version of a book my nic collins, he teaches in the sound program at the art institute of chicago. lots of hacking tools techniques and projects here. def will help with electronics learning.
op amp applications:
another book on op amps and how to use them.
enjoy.
this is a cool project
a group found famiclones( basically nintendo on a chip), and decided to use them for education they could be found for about 10 bux. probably more here, i know makezine sells them in the shop. the funny thing is these machines have a dos/windows type os on them already, pretty amazing for a 6502 ( i've also seen twitter running on a apple 2 or internet on a c64). check this out if you are interested in games or educational games, i see they are also looking for interns.
i worked with a friend over break and we recorded these two albums, even had a show in the dorm......with a monster croud of two people!!!!. but just wanted to share this stuff.
