Sketchlot is a free collaborative whiteboard service that works on any device that will work on a Chromebook, iPad, Android tablet, or any computer connected to the web. Sketchlot is designed for teacher and student use. Teachers create their own accounts and then inside that account they can create a list of students. Each student is assigned his or her own password to use to join a drawing shared by his or her teacher. Teachers can create as many drawings as they like and share them on an individual basis. Teachers can share their drawings to one or all of their students at a time. Students can create their own sketches to share back to their teachers through Sketchlot.

Google Drive is one of the fundamental tools in our digital toolkits as teachers and educators. Splashtop Classroom is a great tool that allows teachers control and share lessons and presentations on their desktop with all students in class. Students will be able to see and follow everything you do on your desktop. With the recent updates, both teachers and students now can use whiteboard tools to add annotations and drawings to lesson content right from their own devices.

TL Virtual Cafe is an online community for teacher-librarians to connect and learn from each other. TL Virtual Cafe hosts numerous webinars and online discussions including a monthly show called TL News Night. TL News Night features conversations with experts from state library associations, an overview of "this month in libraries," and a tip, tool, or title of the month.

Flipped classroom or flipped learning is a methodology, an approach to learning in which technology is employed to reverse the traditional role of classroom time. If in the past, classroom time is spent at lecturing to students , now in a flipped model, this time is utilized to encourage individualized learning and provide one-on-one help to students, and also to improve student-teacher interaction. While the instructional or teachable content is still available in class, however this content is mainly designed in such a way to be accessed outside class which is a great way for struggling students to learn at their own pace.
