"Magic Actions for YouTube is a good Chrome app to use on YouTube to enhance your watching experience. It provides a wide variety of excellent features that allow you to make the best of your YouTube. For instance, the AutoHD feature lets you play all YouTube videos in HD. Cinema Mode shades the whole page and makes you feel like you were in a movie theatre. And with one click you can switch to browse YouTube in black and white."

Here Is A Must Have YouTube Tool for Teachers - 1 views

  •
"ViewPure is absolutely an excellent tool for teachers and students. It allows you to watch YouTube videos in a clean and distraction-free interface. All the distractive features such as ads, related videos, and comments are removed providing students with an ideal environment for watching educational videos. Inappropriate content accompanying YouTube videos lead many teachers to shun away from incorporating YouTube videos in their instruction but with ViewPure this is no longer a problem and teachers are able to provide students with an enhanced YouTube experience with the minimum distraction possible. We said minimum because some ads are integrated with YouTube videos and ViewPure can not remove them."

30 Tips to Leverage The Power of YouTube in Your Teaching - 0 views

  •
Throughout my different experiences working with teachers integrating technology in their classrooms I noticed that several of them still do not know about the powerful features that YouTube has. The fad that YouTube is a mere video hosting platform is still pervasive among many while, in fact, most if not all of the features provided by premium video websites are also found in YouTube and for free.

ViewPure - Watch YouTube Videos Without the Clutter | The Whiteboard Blog - 0 views

  •
View Pure is a great way to show YouTube clips in class without all the on-screen clutter and dodgy comments. I've written about ViewPure in the past, but the site has had a revamp and is worth another blog post! Basically you go to ViewPure website, enter the URL of a YouTube video, or do a search, and it then displays the video on a class-friendly page without any of the on-screen clutter. ViewPure removes all comments, ads, and related videos, allowing videos to be watched without distractions, or more likely, without "inappropriate content". Try Watchkin for Distraction-free YouTube Viewing - 0 views

  •
"Watchkin is a free service that allows you to watch and project YouTube videos without seeing the related sidebar content typically seen on YouTube.com. Watchkin can be used in a few ways. You can enter the direct URL of a video into Watchkin to have the sidebar content removed. You can search for videos through Watchkin and have family-friendly results displayed (if a video appears that is not family-friendly Watchkin has a mechanism for flagging it as inappropriate). Watchkin also offers a browser bookmarklet tool that you can click while on YouTube.com to have the related content disappear from the page."
