Announcify is a free text to speech application that is available as a Chrome browser extension. With Announcify installed in your browser any time you're viewing a webpage you can simply click on the Announcify icon in your browser and have the text of the page read to you. A bonus aspect of using Announcify is that in order to make a webpage easier to read it enlarges the text of the webpage and removes all sidebar content.

Professor Word is a neat tool that can help students learn new SAT and ACT vocabulary words. Professor Word operates as a browser bookmarklet in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. With Professor Word installed in your browser whenever you're reading a webpage you can click on the Professor Word bookmarklet to quickly identify SAT and ACT vocabulary words on that page. You can also use Professor Word to get definitions for any unfamiliar word on a webpage. To get a definition just highlight the word and a small dialogue box containing the definition will appear.

Webwhiteboard is a new website that provides users with interactive whiteboard software that runs in a web browser. It will run on any brand of interactive whiteboard, all you need is a web connection. There's nothing to install, and your whiteboard files live in the cloud so you can access them anywhere.

PingPong is a very simple audience-response tool that enables quick interaction with a class using any device. Unlike Socrative or Kahoot, you don't need to create any questions within the app. PingPong is designed to be used alongside ad-hoc questions written on a whiteboard or as part of a PowerPoint presentation.
