As a teacher or learner, you can use Bibblio to discover, collect and curate the best free learning materials on the web in any format (videos, podcasts, web links, presentations and many more). It also lets you organize all of your curated materials into one single homepage that you can annotate and personalize before sharing it with your peers and students. To search for content on Bibblio, use the box in the top-right corner. 'Type a keyword and see the initial results. These may comprise users, collections and individual content pieces. From there, you can refine your search by typing another keyword or choosing a suggested one from the right-hand column. You can refine the results further by filtering by format (video, audio, visuals, books and articles) or by re-ordering based on recency, popularity or shares. You can also save your favourite keywords by clicking on them in the search results title. Find them again via the Following tab on your profile menu bar.'

HHMI's BioInteractive is a good place for science teachers to search for science lesson plans, videos, animations, and slideshows to use with students. You can search the BioInteractive library according to topic, keyword, or resource type.

"If you made mix tapes in the 80's, the concept of Dragontape will be familiar to you. Dragontaape makes it easy to string together a series of YouTube videos and or sections of YouTube videos. Create your mix tape of videos just launch the Dragontape editor, enter a search term for videos, then drag videos on to the Dragontape timeline. You enter searches and drag videos as many times as you like. To trim video timings and string videos together just match them up on the timeline editor. Dragontape allows you to collaborate with others on a mix."

"Watchkin is a free service that allows you to watch and project YouTube videos without seeing the related sidebar content typically seen on YouTube.com. Watchkin can be used in a few ways. You can enter the direct URL of a video into Watchkin to have the sidebar content removed. You can search for videos through Watchkin and have family-friendly results displayed (if a video appears that is not family-friendly Watchkin has a mechanism for flagging it as inappropriate). Watchkin also offers a browser bookmarklet tool that you can click while on YouTube.com to have the related content disappear from the page."
