With the change from diesel propulsion to battery, Norwegian ship owner Norled has reduced the cost of fuel by 60 percent. For FinFerries, SIEMENS has now tailor-made a suitable technical solution for Finland's first emission-free ferry. This follow-up order confirms SIEMENS' pioneer position delivering green solutions in the shipbuilding industry.
