FreeRice: About - 0 views

  •
"About FreeRice FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Program. Our partner is the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. FreeRice has two goals: 1. Provide education to everyone for free. 2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free. This is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors who advertise on this site. Whether you are CEO of a large corporation or a street child in a poor country, improving your education can improve your life. It is a great investment in yourself. Perhaps even greater is the investment your donated rice makes in hungry human beings, enabling them to function and be productive. Somewhere in the world, a person is eating rice that you helped provide. Thank you."

Interactives . 3D Shapes . Intro - 0 views

  •
"Introduction We live in a three-dimensional world. Every object you can see or touch has three dimensions that can be measured: length, width, and height. The room you are sitting in can be described by these three dimensions. The monitor you're looking at has these three dimensions. Even you can be described by these three dimensions. In fact, the clothes you are wearing were made specifically for a person with your dimensions. In the world around us, there are many three-dimensional geometric shapes. In these lessons, you'll learn about some of them. You'll learn some of the terminology used to describe them, how to calculate their surface area and volume, as well as a lot about their mathematical properties. "

Overview, World Banknote Collection - 0 views

  •
"Welcome to my website. My hobby is collecting paper money from different countries of the world. I dedicate this site exclusively to paper money so that you too can share the joy of my collection. Paper money covers an enormously large field. Collectors can be broadly divided into two major categories, a general collector or a specialized collector. The goal of a general collector is to collect at least one note from each country, whereas that of a specialized collector is to collect notes only in a narrow field of interest. Examples of specialization are: animals, Queen Elizabeth II, $2 bills, serial numbers 888...8, plastic banknotes, hyperinflation banknotes and United States currency."
