Dear Carla and all : as always it's a pleasure to be learning by your side. I wondered what to do and I did it:
I created a list to one of my courses where my students themselves brought a video about environment : A beautiful lie. It was a really good experience because of the richness of their comments. Some of them in a good English , some of them in Spanglish.
I had the idea to go on with that topic so I made a list with three pages (just an experiment) I highlighted some paragraphs and sticked notes suggesting the activity we're going to do with that. Then I got the widget and embeded into my blog.
I couldn't believe it. I really like it and I think it's going to be visually appealling to my students.
I made a list, you can create it with : My list. I chose three pages I wanted my students to visit and added those pages to the list. I read them and highlighted the main ideas. You have to be careful with that option. Make it public, if don't, your students won't be able to see the highlighted paragraphs. (it was my first mistake, hahaha)
With the sticky notes tool I added the activities, public , too. Then I went to WEBSLIDES option . Once there you go to customize slides (if you want to ) and finally, to GET WEBSLIDES WIDGETS. You copy the URL and paste it in your blog or website.
And VOILA !!!
You're going to be really happy with the result, your students just visit your blog and with a short explanation they're ready to go there.

Yes, they can see it, without having a Diigo account. That's why it's so easy !! No complications. If you click on the central arrow you can open the webslide. The problem appears if you click on the bottom (maybe webslide's icon )
I have tested it with my students and it really works !!! But I also know that there's a chance to enter to Diigo and that way you are asked to sign in. Remember it only happens if you don't click on the central big arrow.
