This video is about how an expert can lead the novice through learning process

Members of this family are teaching the younger generation to weave a simple pattern of peonies. The younger boy (rear) clearly has no idea what he's doing as he plays with the instruments and materials.

This is a hockey tradition that everybody has a fight when they are playing in a hockey match. Although there are quite big punishments depending on the fight's greatness, everybody see that fights as a normal routine in matches and learn how to fight in time.

In this article Roy Pea, who is one of the pioneers of learning sciences, discussing how computers are changing our cognitive lifes beyond amplifying. Article first supports this proposition, then discusses implications of applying computer-based technologies into education. Lastly it suggests updating educational practices in order to be harmonious with this new emerging cognitive life. This article is also important for being quite early, it constitutes one of the foot stones of the learning sciences area.

Patricia Benner published a book whose name is Novice to Expert in 1982 and at that book she mentioned 5 levels from novice to experts. These levels are; novice, advanced beginner, competent, proficient and the expert. All these levels and the book is about nursing but I want to share this short and funny video to you due to relating with expert and novices. Curiosity is an app that gives you detailed random facts in a daily feed on any topic (literally any topic: from the life of Pablo Escobar to what backfire effect is). It also has a great interface and visuals. This may not make you an expert, but definitely a jack of all trades.

This website is devoted to Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge. There you can ask your questions and find out the studies done in this field.

This video is a must to understand what TPACK is.

Are you prepared to step out of the box? Before watching this video, what I knew about TPACK was limited. I found this video useful because it clearly states we need to integrate context, pedagogy and technology.

This is an example of TPACK method demonstrated at a rural Texas elementary school. They combine the content knowledge and pedagogical strengths of two deeply skilled teachers.

Combining technology with a constructivist educational system.

I wasn't sure if this was a legitimate app, but turns out it is! I love it when people collaborate to create projects like this.
