Science Teaching is exemplified with TPACK and different classroom applications can be found. Interrelation of science and technology is underlined.

Now i did recognize that we used the same website:) i like the way they present. Content, definitions and reasons of subject and its teaching, are explained and related with Tpack clearly. More, web page is so colorful that you dont even get bored :p

Computer games are the most common tools to keep us "flowed". So, What makes a good computer game?

As I was reading about call of duty and flow, I again recognised that there is a distinct difference among genders ;)

My father has been playing bridge online. He is one of the late adopters to technology, yet, he plays bridge for hours and hours without realising what is happening around himself. He has played bridge online for 6000 hours since 2007. I just asked him "why are you playing", he said, "because I have fun" and "because it is challenging" and "I get points". Well, he just covered the flow theory and games :)

This is a TED talk by Sugata Mitra, the Professor of Educational Technology at the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences at Newcastle University, England. He mentions about his "Hole in the Wall" experiment and SOLE (self-organized learning environment). He defines learning as the product of educational self-organization. There are many interesting implications for the future of learning. So what are your opinions about future of learning?

This is the first chapter of the book "The Cambridge Handbook of the Learning Sciences" by R. Keith Sawyer. It integrates the foundations of the learning sciences, educational technology, learning processes and the emergence of the field of learning sciences along with the rationale behind this field. I think as an introduction, this chapter will be beneficial to look at before going towards the endpoints.

David Perkins has conducted long-term programs of research and development in the areas of teaching and learning for understanding, creativity, problem-solving and reasoning in the arts, sciences, and everyday life. He has also studied the role of educational technologies in teaching and learning and has designed learning structures and strategies in organizations to facilitate personal and organizational understanding and intelligence. His inquiries reflect a conception of mind that emphasizes the interlocking relationships among thinking, learning, and understanding. The three depend deeply on one another. Meaningful learning aims at understanding and depends on thinking with and about what one is learning. Effective thinking in the subject matters and in general involves understanding the resources of the mind and learning to deploy them sensitively and systematically

In this study, they compared CSCL based instructions and pen and paper methodologies in Mathematics education to enhance Student learning.

This is a research on the effect of technology and collaborative style on learning. This is another discussion topic we wil cover in the classroom. This effect paradigm reveal many inconsistencies that make it difficult to draw generalizations.

Schank is one of the leading pioneers in artificial intelligence, cognitive science and learning theory. One of his quotes has gripped my attention when I had a look at his page. He states "Education must remain a process where an individual learns to discover oneself and, in doing so, endeavour to improve the human condition. For our future, it is important that we teach our children that reading and learning can be enjoyable and intrinsically rewarding." He emphasizes how important learning by doing is, and believes that we should put conventional teaching methods aside because these make school horrible. In order to make it less horrible, softwares,let's say, technology should be involved in existing educational system, which is already broken.
