Universal Design for Learning: From Theory to Practice In this webinar, expert classroom educators Jon Mundorf (Naples, FL) and Alexis Reid (Boston, MA) discussed the ways in which UDL helps them teach more effectively and reach more students. STRATEGY: When a student comes across a word not already in his or her lexicon invite the student to highlight that word using a specific color. These words can then be collected to create a dictionary of niggling words. Students can then focus studies on those specific target words.
