It would be very helpful if you could provide us with a bit of information. This helps tremendously as we make plans. * The primary audience for this workshop will be K-12 teachers. Is that correct? * Are there any specific objectives or programs you hope to support through these trainings? * The confirmation indicates the workshop schedule is 8:30-3:30, Is that correct? Attached, you'll find the proposed agenda's for our week of workshops. Please review them to make sure they meet your objectives and let us know if we need to make any changes or if you need any clarification on what's included. Please reply to this email as soon as possible to let me know if the agenda's meet your approval. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I'm looking forward to meeting you all in June. With my summer travel schedule, email is the most efficient way to reach me. I do check several times a day.

Musings of a Praying Mantis - Home - 2 views

Dr. Lauire Curtis, KSU faculty... daughter-in-law is a 5th grade teacher. She loves science. This is her blog for her new class pet... a praying mantis, and now it is going to have babies. I think it is pretty clever and a way to integrate reading, writing, science....we have to think about this! I might send it to my students. The video is a bit gruesome...but probably very engaging for 5th graders! I still think it is a pretty neat idea to integrate technology. http://boltsblog.weebly.com/

Five Great Motivational Videos for Your Students - 3 views

"Below are some of the inspiring videos made by teenagers at TedxTeen which is the adolescent version of TED talks. Show your students what other teenagers are doing apart from being glued to their mobile phone screens texting all the time.Let them see the potential inside of them that they are wasting in playing stupid and violent games all the time. Our students are living in a merciless commercial world where surrounded by savage advertising companies whose sole purpose is to make gains in the growing teens market. We should give them a hand and help them out. They are desperate for motivation and passion and with just some simple but creative ways we can make a change in their lives. "
