Is that correct? * Are there any specific objectives or programs you hope to support through these trainings? * The confirmation indicates the workshop schedule is 8:30-3:30, Is that correct? Dr. Lauire Curtis, KSU faculty... daughter-in-law is a 5th grade teacher. She loves science. This is her blog for her new class pet... a praying mantis, and now it is going to have babies. I think it is pretty clever and a way to integrate reading, writing, science....we have to think about this! I might send it to my students. The video is a bit gruesome...but probably very engaging for 5th graders! I still think it is a pretty neat idea to integrate technology. http://boltsblog.weebly.com/

Our students are living in a merciless commercial world where surrounded by savage advertising companies whose sole purpose is to make gains in the growing teens market. We should give them a hand and help them out. They are desperate for motivation and passion and with just some simple but creative ways we can make a change in their lives. "
