I think that this would be newsworthy because it is about to happen and a lot of teenagers have either iPhones or other Apple app devices. This story is newsworthy because it marks an important step in the process of building One World Trade center. This would be relevant to teens because we have grown up in the aftermath of 9/11 and many people see the trade center being rebuilt when they go to new york or areas where you can see new york. Images that could be used for this would be student photos that they have taken (i have seen some) or government images of the building. Another photo that could be shown would be an image of the twin towers before 9/11 or ground zero.

This story is super cool and super quirky. We discussed it in class so I feel it would be redundant to describe again. Holla!

This would be interesting for teens to know about because a lot of them use Tumblr and if Yahoo buys the program there could be big changes that they'd want to know.

I think teens would want to know about this since a lot of them use subscription services such as Pandora and Spotify and I think they'd want to know about a new subscription.

I think that this story is good/relevant because the American Idol finale was just last night, so this is pretty recent. And I know a lot of people either watch this show or used to watch this show, so it would appeal to our audience.

This is an interesting story because teens are often stressed and have trouble dealing with their anxiety. Its a cool feeler story.

This is relevant to teens because some people war this brand of clothing and also I know that this is a big controversy for teens. It's something they should all know.

I think that this story is relevant to the local category because it is about one of the local scholarship funds. The article says which students received scholarships this year, and a few are Hunterdon Central students!

Not all stories make good multimedia stories. The best multimedia stories are multi-dimensional. They include action for video, a process that can be illustrated with a graphic (e.g., "how tornadoes form" or "how this new surgery works"), someone who can give some pithy quotes for video or audio, and/or strong emotions for still photos and audio. Most multimedia stories require that the reporter go into the field to report the story face-to-face with sources, rather than doing a story entirely by telephone.

How to Do a Rough Storyboard A multimedia story is some combination of video, text, still photos, audio, graphics and interactivity presented in a nonlinear format in which the information in each medium is complementary, not redundant. So your storyboard should be put together with all those elements in mind.

"Imagine an online environment for learning the art and craft of multimedia journalism, a place for media consumers to become media producers. We think this goal realizable because … we're doing it.
