This posting provides readers with an introduction to Wordpress themes.  I found the posting useful in that it breaks down the many features of a theme and how these themes function on the web.  

This is the web practictioner's blog. Some of the blog posts are over our heads at this point, but it's still interesting to read. It gave me an idea of what's going on in this web world we're entering.

This would be a great template if anyone will have visual art - photos, paintings, drawings - to blog about. Each block is a new post, I think. I won't be using it because my preference will be words... Unless you think I could pull off having a diagram in each photo :)

This NPR blog post by Linda Holmes discusses the impacts of real time communication. Steve Martin tweets about his interview experience when audience emails were redirecting the interviewer. It is an interesting look at social media, American culture, and appreciation for live discussions.

This article was written/posted a year ago, but I found it interesting -- detailing some "trends" in web pages. Some of the ideas (like hand-drawn designs) are probably way beyond our reach. I hope at least one of these sparks something, lets you think outside the box for your next installation! :)

UX is user experience. It's interesting to think about in terms of usability - the visual experience is important to a successful website not just functional features like links and a pretty header
