The digital divide is happening because of so much internet focus in schools. Some schools are not getting the needed technology because they do not have funds for it.

Something to consider if you plan to teach math... or have kids...

Encouraging students to use cellphones turns the phones into tool instead of distractions. By allowing students opportunities to use their phone in class, the teacher is preparing them for the real-world. Most students have cell-phones so it's beneficial for schools that don't have the newest technology to allow students access to their phones.
