The PTB at Facebook change its policy to state that they have full control (i.e. they can do whatever they want) over all of your content (photos, videos, etc.) forever! Even if/ after you terminate your releationship with them. Please read this important update.

When Microsoft bought a 1.6 percent stake in Facebook back in October 2007, it paid 240 million dollars for the preferred stock, which meant that the company was valued at roughly 15 billion dollars.

One of the benefits of creating an open, simple, highly adaptable service like Twitter is the fact that once it takes off, people will try to do a lot of interesting things with it.
