Developers, start your engines. Apple has rolled out iPhone 3.1 OS Beta in preparation for an eventual fall release.

Beta product with a lot of potential of making secondary level mathematics more accessible with mobile technology. Great idea, but would need more features. As is, the page needs to be refreshed to clear and begin again.

Users can take a GPS-enabled walk as stories about their surroundings stream into their headphones, like a museum tour of the entire world. Users can record their own content, create playlists, follow their friends, and share on Facebook.

This was probably to be expected, but a lot of the new features found today in Apple's OS 3.1 beta release are tailored toward the 3G S.
