SO... WHAT IS PADILICIOUS? PADILICIOUS.COM, when viewed on your Mac, is an entirely different site than what you're seeing here. The other site (to view, tap here) contains free Mac OS X tools for automatically generating interactive web-apps for the iPad. And these web-apps can be easily shared with others, by using the free tools to automatically upload them to your MobileMe sites folder. For example, tap one of the images below, and rotate your iPad horizontally, to view an interactive photo carousel/slideshow web-app that was automatically created by simply selecting images on the Mac and applying a Mac OS X service to them! By the way, these example web-apps are meant to viewed fullscreen on the iPad, so after tapping their thumbnail images, tap the plus sign (+) in the Safari toolbar to add them to your homescreen as links. Then tap one of the created bookmark links on your homescreen, and the apps will open in fullscreen mode! Firefox add on browser that I'm told helps with searching for content similar to web pages you are own. Worth a try.

This wiki is intended to be a clearinghouse of applications, lessons ideas and experiences using the iPad in the classroom. The intention is that all apps listed have been tested and recommended by teachers using them. The Apps pages are generally created using google docs spreadsheets, feel free to update the wiki or the spreadsheets. (A link is provided on each page for the spreadsheets... at least the ones I've started working on...) At this point, as a high school science teacher, most of the apps I've recommended and investigated are geared to this level. Some can be used at any level. I invite you to add pages dedicated to your areas of interest and expertise if they are not already listed here. I would love to see a section on Literature and Language and Elementary Skills added to the wiki along with additions to any of the currently developed spreadsheets. It would also be sweet to share specific lessons or ideas for applications and activities.

Appsfire is a place for you to create a list of your favorite apps as well as find other apps that you may like. Appsfire also allows you to "Follow" a search term for updates in the future. "SteadyLens developers midnox have just released a new, updated, version of the app and changed its name to Luma. The name change reflects the new features which go beyond just (very good) video stabilisation. The big feature is the price - Luma is now free (dropping the $2.99 / £1.99 in-app upgrade), but we also like the live filters and manual controls."

Really interesting alternative to ATT service although it's very expensive to add this service to iphone. You can add the wifi to an itouch though and have Verizon data network access. :-)

Excellent demo about how you can use your iPhone or iTouch with Verizon wifi. Not a cheap alternative but provides access to areas not available on ATT network.
