This google Doc has over 50 extensions on it, there are some really cool things that I never realized that you could do before. I really liked the extension called Ginger which corrects your spelling and grammar directly in your Gmail.

This is a very informative list of chrome extensions. I like a lot of the extensions that dealt with privacy such as Collusion. It lets you see what sites track your information in the background, and helps you to stop them if you wish.

We have indeed become a me and wanting it now generation. This article are quick clean extensions to help make your internet use easier. Some of the extensions if used in a classroom can move along lessons with less down time for students. The Web of Trust extension is great for student users. It allows them to navigate the internet on their own without the fear of them straying to spam sites while you assist others.

There were some fantastic extensions listed in this article. In particular, the StayFocused extension seems like it would be extremely helpful for students. I know I could use it!

I found this article to be very interesting as well as informative. I really liked the fact that it tells you the instructions on how to use each of the extensions mentioned. The instructions are very detailed and specific for each extension and I consider that this would come in handy for not only future teachers but everyone. In addition, it also tells you if its free or if there is a cost to have it.

I really like the readability extension they offer. Its nice to not be distracted by flashing ads when all you want to do is read an article on the internet. It is probably even tougher for high school students or younger to concentrate. It is a nice feature to keep them productive.

This is a great list to use as a resource for Chrome Extensions; not only does it give you 100 examples from simple to complex, they vary in use as well. I liked "Grammarly Lite," which spellchecks your grammar and spelling on the internet, super helpful for future teachers who would like to avoid looking unprofessional in an email when their proofreading simply was not on point that day. "Panic Button" is also good for parents (or teachers, if they prefer to keep their emails and such private), as it hides and locks whatever tabs are on your screen at the time with the click of a button.

This article highlights some great Chrome extensions that might be useful in the classroom. This article I found extremely informative because it shows teachers 50 of the best google chrome extensions to use. The top 1 extension was google drive because teachers can easily save all of their information to it and even share it for their students to see.

I use my google Drive for everything! If didn't have it I would be one disorganized person. I have a personal Google Drive and a school one and it has been a life saver. I wish that I had this years ago. I feel like I have only really had my google drives for the last 2 1/2 years, I am unfamiliar when it would have come out, though.

I think this is a very cool extension. It will also become very popular in the world of assistive technology for special needs students I think. Some students may have problems reading especially from computer screens and this will help with those issues both in the classroom and at home.

Google Chrome's extension One Tab can be helpful to not only teachers, but people who love to have multiple tabs open at one. This extension allows the user to compile their tabs into a single list clearing up their computer screen making it easier to navigate and sort through the multiple tabs they have open. One of the cool functions this extension performs is allowing a person to export and import their tab list as URLs. It can also allow one to create a webpage from their list of tabs. If a teacher had a bunch of websites they wanted their students to look at they could use this function to send it to them instead of simply listing each website individually. 

I found this post really interesting because this would be something I would definitely use! I get so confused when I have a million tabs open at once, I always click on all of them until I can find the right one. This extension would definitely benefit many students and teachers and keep their lives more organized!

There's a new Chrome extension called "Shove" that lets you drop a web page onto your friend's browser, and vice-versa. Unlike skeevier apps like Peeple, however, it's strictly opt-in. Both parties have to agree to this, the friends can open up any links in their friends browser at any time. It will open up that page immediately and put it as the center tab on the friends browser. There are some security defaults to this, but this extension can be very useful. Students can use it when they are having discussions, and it is an easy way to access a page.

Use the Hightlight extension to highlight important text on specific web pages in different colors! This would be extremely helpful in classrooms, especially when teaching students how to research and find important words and phrases in text!

This definitely seems like a useful tool, not only for teachers but for people who want to share certain parts of an article. I always feel like sharing certain parts of article or stories with friends is tricky to achieve online, but this seems like it would make it much easier, and the fact that there are multiple different colors to choose from makes it that much better

Quickly create a new Google Doc. It's just a single click from your menu bar. I found this really cool because it's an easy way to access your google doc without going into your drive!

Does what its suppose to do. The extension is a good time saver for people who use google docs more often than everyone. I hate waiting for docs to load in order to create a new document.

This article peaked my interest: Within the next ten years, de Blasio is requiring all of the city's public schools to offer computer science for all students.These courses will only be offered as electives. The main concern for this is finding enough teachers that are properly trained and training others. Computer science jobs are among the fastest growing. They are also the some of the highest paying jobs.  Computer sciences are primarily dominated by white or Asian males. With these courses being available to all students in elementary schools, hopefully the number of minorities and girls who will be interested will increase.

This article is useful because it compares and contrasts the use of technology and technology integration. Which I think is so often misunderstood.

I think this article is very helpful on how to bring technology and art together. It gives many examples on how to use technology and art such as the iPad green screen videos the class made and the Art and Technology night they host at the school. I would definitely use the examples in this article in my class room.

What a wonderful article! Teachers, Principals, parents, and students need to read this article. Our 21st century learners are quite different than they were 15 years ago. This article discusses the shift we are seeing in the classrooms as more and more technology is integrated. It is helpful because it shows us how we, as future teachers, must use technology with our students. We must trust them with the technology. We are no longer going to be in classrooms where we have more access to technology than our students. It is going to be universal.
