This article provides helpful tools or "life hacks" for fellow teachers to help them with their instructional technology lessons. Ed tech teachers are always looking for easier and more effective ways to communicate with their students as well as help their students with an understanding of educational technology. This article simply provides an aid for those educators in the pursuit of better tricks to improve everyday life.

This post lists five different ways to use technology to improve a classroom, but also has a few suggestions for when a teacher might not have the money for the technology. One app suggestion, ScreenChomp, allows a teacher to screen share on an iPad to give students better understandings when they need help.

Searchtube is a chrome extension that allows viewers to search a word and instantly jump to that second in the video. I can think of plenty of times during this course where I would hear a specific word that caught my attention and I would have to constantly go back on the video to find what I was looking for. Searchtube is designed to gain knowledge while saving time. If you are watching the video for a specific reason you can just jump to the topic that you are interested in learning about by using key words in the searchtube bar. The downside is that the first half of the video is free and to unlock the second half of any video it is 2.99 a month subscription.

I like this idea, it saves time and energy.
