This article I found extremely informative because it shows teachers 50 of the best google chrome extensions to use. The top 1 extension was google drive because teachers can easily save all of their information to it and even share it for their students to see.

I use my google Drive for everything! If didn't have it I would be one disorganized person. I have a personal Google Drive and a school one and it has been a life saver. I wish that I had this years ago. I feel like I have only really had my google drives for the last 2 1/2 years, I am unfamiliar when it would have come out, though.

The extension about keeping students organized seems really cool, its something that I would even use on my own computer!

But in this innovative age of technology that we are living in, why are we still paying well over $100 for the same piece of equipment? Desmos is a free Google extension that can replace the graphing calculator all together. It preforms all of the same functions while giving a way better look to your graphs. Your curved graphs will actually look curvy!

With latest text-to-speech abilities added to software, reading through lines of text may now become optional for those who prefer a faster, more accessible alternative. The technology extension can detect over 50 languages. In addition to US and UK English, the extension can also translate text into Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian and Russian, to name a few.

I think this is a very cool extension. It will also become very popular in the world of assistive technology for special needs students I think. Some students may have problems reading especially from computer screens and this will help with those issues both in the classroom and at home.

Searchtube is a chrome extension that allows viewers to search a word and instantly jump to that second in the video. I can think of plenty of times during this course where I would hear a specific word that caught my attention and I would have to constantly go back on the video to find what I was looking for. Searchtube is designed to gain knowledge while saving time. If you are watching the video for a specific reason you can just jump to the topic that you are interested in learning about by using key words in the searchtube bar. The downside is that the first half of the video is free and to unlock the second half of any video it is 2.99 a month subscription.

I like this idea, it saves time and energy.

EasyBib released its chrome extension that allows users to cite websites automatically and offers a credibility review of the site as a source. The author who reviews this extension asserts that the citation feature is really useful, but the advice on credibility depends too much on the website domain and is not smart enough to distinguish between the different content available; rating opinion pieces, comments, and news articles on an approved site equally credible.

Interesting , not sure if its effective but really cool for people who do not want to do citations.

This is a very interesting article. Every student in my class play this game. Most of my students play the creative mode. It is amazing to watch these kids build intricate maps that display knowledgeable concentration. I find myself watching the kids over their shoulders on break for several minutes and being astonished of the problem solving techniques they use to think their specified maps. On top of that, it is a very hard game to play. I never can complete a regular level. I feel like a dinosaur picking up their tablet and try to play this game. I remember trying to play my dad in the early Madden games growing up. I feel like the parent picking up the controller and having no idea what to do. Even though the concept is so simple. There are several learning abilities to apply for the game.

This helps students all be able to get the same information without the hassle of what I like to call 'e-mail tag' when they are not in the classroom, for homework and such. But this also helps teachers get her students on the same website when they are in the classroom. A lot of the time spent in computer based classrooms especially with younger grades, is spent setting up the lesson and getting the students onto the webpage. This will decrease the instances of those issues and quicken the set up part of the lesson so there is more time for learning.

What a useful tool for the classroom setting to keep students on task and focused! It guarantees that students won't be roaming the internet during the activity/lesson!
