    Hi Jane, Thanks for sharing. This is a great resource for schools who cannot afford Microsoft Office or just want something more uniform in a multi platform environment. I have actually found that some things (excel type functions) work better in OpenOffice than Excel itself. Plus since it is free, kids can download at home as well.

    If anyone uses the Casper Suite as an MDM then JAMF Nation is the place to check out new ideas, add in new comments, and change posts on how things work.  It is a good look for those of us that use this software on a daily basis.

    Whatever you may use to manage iOS and OS X devices, this is a great resource for you to post a question and get some awesome feedback on management. Yes, the group is geared for tech staff and those using their software, but they leave it intentionally wide open. Also note the "jobs board" in the lower right corner is not just for them, but for tech jobs around the globe!

    Jing is a great web 2.0 tool for sharing your screen and recording objects for students when they are absent. There is also screencast, quicktime, or even Camtasia Studio.

    Jing is an awesome tool and I have used this tool many times sense I learned of its existence two years ago.
