This is the PBS kid website. It has great games and activities for a child to interact with and learn at the same time!

This is a very good website for kids to go too! I know the girls I babysat this past summer loved going on here and playing the different games that went along with their favorite shows on tv.

Glogster is a graphical blog. Students can express themselves through words, music, film, and pictures on this site.

21st century multimedia tool for educators, teachers and students. Allows user to text, images, video, and music in their interactive poster.

I just heard from a student teacher who uses glogster. He said the students really enjoy it.

A blog about technology in the classroom from Britannica

A site with alot of tools for teaching, it is pretty neat because it is peer reviewed.

This website collects lessons from other websites and offers abstracts describing these lessons. Teachers can peruse these options to teach a specific subject or theme.

This is Iowa's early intervention.  This is for children that are birth to age three.  This is early access' links and resources pages.  Having this page is help because these resources are researched before they are put onto this page.  

This would be a great resource in my future classroom because it is has well researched, reliable links to provide information on early intervention resources. Many times teachers do not have the knowledge of ability to provide an individual child with what they need. So this site can direct teachers to organizations and resources that can help that child. This site would only be used by teachers, health care providers, social service agencies, and parents. It is not designed for students learning activities or a resource for coursework. I am not aware of any other resources like this that focus on birth through age three.

Snaplr is a simple way to capture and annotate your desktop's activity. Its Free to download, a great addition for your email/collaboration tool.

This is a commercial website that sells an entire computer curriculum package. But there are a lot of sample lessons with ideas on how to incorporate technology into learning that are worth looking at.

I will definitively use this in my future classroom.I have used Jing in the past successfully but this tool has 10 more minutes of free recording than Jing does. This tool can be used both by teachers and students. Students can use this tool to create projects or for presentations. Diana and Destery, Screenr (http://www.screenr.com/) is another free alternative that is cross platform.

This periodic table integrates QR (quick response) codes for specific elements. Scanning an individual qr code with your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) via a qr reader, will take you to YouTube videos that provide additional information about a specific element. This can be an innovative way of utilizing QR codes in a chemistry class.

Here is a great example of using QR codes to support a chemistry curriculum.

This is a site full of themes, printables, recipes article and tips for teacher who work with young children.

This is an online math site.  This site ranges from pre-k to algebra the student will work on one area than they will gain points and awards.  They also give state standards. 

This is a wiki site that shows many web 2.0 resources available now on the web. Though some sits have shut down since this was last updated, they show many options for students and ways to think outside the box.
