Voicethread is a collaborative, multimedia based slideshow tool that allows users to view and share "Voicethreads" using audio, video, and images, from anywhere around the world, without software to install. An awesome sharing tool.

Wow, this site is a gold mine for free resources. You can navigate the website by subject (History for example) then click on sub-categories like World War I. It list free resources and the websites where you can find them. This would be a good resource for teachers or for students as the research or create projects.

An alternative to Google apps. You can write documents, make presentations, chat, and even have another source for email.

This is a very useful tool, and it is free for educational purposes. I don't know how needed it is, however, because most of the features can already be found on-line for free. I feel that Google would be a better option for schools, because it is more widely used and student would be able to make use it after graduation.

Prezi is a great educational resource for students and teachers alike. Prezi gives a fun new spin on the traditional powerpoint. It also allows you to save your presentation online so you can log on and use it from any internet enabled computer.

This webpage has 17 different Web 2.0 tools and provides links to various resources for each of the 17 tools. I would use this personally for instruction. I would also have my students use various tools listed, such as survey makers, presentation tools and word cloud generators as a classroom tool.

ActivInspire software allows you to create flip charts for Promethean boards for free. Seeing as Promethean boards are become common in schools this could be a very useful resource for you to use in your classroom.

" This blog is the place where the teachers at these meeting share the insights they gained. It is a great resource for teachers who are unable to attend "teachmeets" in person.

This blog is for teachers who integrate technology into their classrooms. It allows fellow teachers to share what they have done in their classrooms with the world. It is therefore useful for both elementary and secondary teachers.

I really like this site.Teachers are always looking for suggestions. For teachers who are using iPads in the classroom, this would be a beneficial site to acquire apps that will suit all lesson plans. This site provides more than 65 apps that are categorized into the subjects of Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and general apps that can be used for all. There are plenty more educational apps out there so it is important to stay up to date.

This is a great resource for teachers starting a 1-1 program with iPads. As someone who is interested in using the iPad in the classroom, this might be the best resource I have seen. It's no question that it isn't the iPad itself, rather the apps that are developed that are the big draw for use in education. I really like that the apps featured on this site are divided into the different subjects that they entail, even sign language! This is a resource I will use in the future if I get the chance to use an iPad in my classroom.
