This source is a blog by Alexander Russo, who is a former teacher and freelance education writer. His blog is hosted by Scholastic.com and is considered on of the best education blogs. I would use this blog to keep myself updated on issues in education as a way to help me be the best teacher I can be.

TED is one of the best places to go to hear and see the future of education and technology. The videos featured on TED range in theme, from technology, to social issues. This is a great resource to see what some of the best and brightest have to say about our future.

TED talks are insightful and really well presented. They often give unique and interesting perspectives on a range of subjects. I could see myself as a secondary social studies teacher using them to help student understand the idea of looking at issues from a variety of perspectives. They would be good for content knowledge, especially for psychology, economics, or sociology.

I have watched a video clip from this site in a college level course. As a college instructor, there would be many technology related videos that I could use in the classroom as a springboard for discussions. It also would be interesting for students.

Great resource Min! The gamification of education is a very hot issue right now, and I think that providing teachers with resources to help them understand what the potential of gaming in education might be, will be very beneficial to our teachers, and our students. I might use this wiki in my final paper research! :D
