Great resource for Foundation/Year one to help consolidate number recognition.  It enables students to match objects with words and numbers.  This is a great visual tool for those visual learners within the class.  Each student has a turn at matching the number of children with the number on the bus and further along in the  lesson, the pictures change to trees and apples.  Very engaging for students.

Year 3 level Science I liked this flip chart because its a simple introduction to the topic:heat and includes science experiments. I can't say there's anything I would change just yet, it depends what level the children are at.

Age bracket - Prep- Year 2 Science - English learning area I think this is great, especially as it has the Hungry caterpillar story incorporated as well as using the video story you could use the hard copy of the book as well great theme for the lessons. The only problem I see having is if there are any technology issues with the whiteboard to prevent from using. Otherwise I think this is an excellent resource.

I just completed my assignment 2 on year 4 science.. I thought this was rather fitting. I like how it has numerous games that containers audio aswell. Only problem I can see is that it clearly wouldn't work if the IWB or the stick wasn't working.

This is a literacy resource for prep children. I like the use of images as this is age appropriate. The main concern I would have is that it is quite limited in the number of examples of rhyming words given.

This flip chart introduces students to fractions. I would be using this with my 4/5 class. I have just used this through the ACTIVInspire program and it looks great. It is colourful with images and hidden answers for students to find.

Learning area of History for Year 10. I like the images of comparison between contemporary Melbourne and historical Melbourne. Problems could be students from other Australian states not relating to pictures from Melbourne.

I believe this resource aided a yr 6 students learning from my professional experience that was having difficulty gaining understanding of these angles. I also believe that the vision of the clock assisted her learning.

Lessons & Instructional Materials | Place Value Resources - 1 views

  •
I think this resource would be valuable for any grade between 1-4, learning place values. I like that it isn't overly complicated, and it is simplified enough for students to be able to work it themselves. There may be some issues with some of the students remembering the place values when the different columns are not marked properly.
