A good idea to follow other teachers. The best way you can improve your own practice is to learn from others.

"A new report on "Teens, Technology and Friendships" from the Pew Foundation puts an unusually positive spotlight on the online lives of teenagers as they build friendships and connections in a digital world. Teenagers aged 13 to17 are finding ways to strengthen their relationships with real-world friends as well as making new friends through social media, video gaming, messaging apps and other virtual connectors."

Class resource for behaviour management reinforcement and tracking

This is a great tool...I have tested on my own kids lol. Just received an email recently stating that this app can now be used "school wide" as opposed to just in one classroom. Therefore teachers can share behaviour management strategies throughout the school.

The beginning of this clip introduces Leah Lacrosse, a 5th grade science teacher who uses iPads in her classroom. Leah has a blog (url is given in the introduction) in which she discusses ways of using various iPad apps for teaching science. The blog also contains examples of what she has done with her class.

"Project 252 is a crowdsourcing project that will run during 2015. Every 2 weeks for the 52 weeks of the year (hence 252) we will focus on one letter of the alphabet (starting with A and going through to Z).
