PicMonkey is Like Instagram on the Web - 0 views

  •
Earlier this morning I was asked for a list of alternatives to Picnik for editing and adding effects to photos. I had this list handy, but I have another good photo editor to add to the list. I learned about PicMonkey from one of Jim Sill's Tweets last week and I finally gave it a try this morning. My initial impression is that it is a lot like Instagram except that it functions on the web instead of as an Android or iOS app.

7 Great Bibliography and Citation Tools for Students - 0 views

  •
"Yesterday while we were working on the post entitled 5 Great Learning Tools for students and as we reviewed EasyBib, we decided to include here a post that would feature a list of some important bibliography and citation tools. As teachers and educators, you know how hard students struggle to properly use a quote, citation, or list bibliography items. This is even more serious when it comes to writing formal research papers."

6 Must Watch Videos on 21st Education - 0 views

  •
"The list of mind blowing videos covering the topic of 21st century education and learning is growing bigger and bigger. There are actually some clips that I think every teacher should watch if not twice then at least once. These videos are not only an inestimable source of inspiration but are also a good resource packed full of great ideas on where education is right now. I know not all of you have the chance to get your hands over these videos because of your busy teaching schedules but as an educational blogger I do come across several of these videos and whenever time permits I curate lists to share with you. "With so many free and user friendly tech tools available for teachers, it's hard to know where to begin to put together a list of the best tools for teaching and learning so I decided to take a look at my own resources to determine which tools I use the most. Rather than posting another running list of tools, features and uses, I decided to present the information visually, through an interactive ThingLink graphic. I used the new colored nubbins available to make it easier for visitors to explore areas of interest more efficiently. "
