Picisto is an online tool that allows anyone to easily create photo collages and vision boards. Choose a layout. Upload and select your photos. Add text and shapes. Buy photo prints. Share with your friends. All from your web browser.

This script makes giving attribution to flickr creative commons such a simple thing you cannot believe you had done it any other way earlier. Any flickr photo page you visit that has Creative Commons License applied will display two text fields below the CC license listing (right side of photo). Clicking either field will select it, so you can do a quick command-c to copy.

Earlier this morning I was asked for a list of alternatives to Picnik for editing and adding effects to photos. I had this list handy, but I have another good photo editor to add to the list. I learned about PicMonkey from one of Jim Sill's Tweets last week and I finally gave it a try this morning. My initial impression is that it is a lot like Instagram except that it functions on the web instead of as an Android or iOS app.

This is a great site for finding quality images to use in your projects. The images can be used for both personal and commercial projects and you don't even need to sign in to download them. The images have been uploaded by users for the public good. Upload your images to help others.

When most of us think of Pinterest, we probably think about a bunch of young people sharing links to web pages, photos and videos with their friends. It is just another social network for people to show off what is going on in their lives, such as a recent crush, an outstanding outfit that has just been purchased, or a fresh new look. These templates can be downloaded, modified, and printed to obtain parental consent for students who publish their work and/or photos and videos online. A signed consent form allows the school or district to also publish photographs and videos of students.
