    I found this article to be very interesting because I've always thought about the use of hardware and software. I've always imagine why is it that hotels always have third party software solutions and now I see why. The reason is because it makes the booking experience feel more personalized. Just as the article explains. "Hotels large customer base finds this access to a wide bouquet of software and hardware interfaces as a major advantage. It lets them use their valuable customer data for multiple purposes including to upsell newer services and facilities to enhance guest satisfaction". As hotels begin to expand so does the demand for more hardware and software. They need help with the leverage and by creating an alliance with third party software solutions it enables hotels to create a large number of interface for customers around the globe. That way users pick and choose from a wide variety of vendors and enjoy the benefit of a third party solution without large integration costs.
