This article gives a brief explanation of what exactly HRIS is.  It goes into detail of explaining what the HRIS covers or does. it explains what an effective HRIS provides to its users, explaining that it provides information on just about anything the company needs to track and analyze about employees, former employees and applicants.  I think this is good for a manager or company that doesn't use an HRIS yet to review for furthering their business as i it very helpful.

One of the apps, the seating planner is one app that many people need in their lives. one of the hardest tasks in planning an event in specific a wedding is the seating arrangement. this app helps in making the bride and grooms life easier. This blog is a life save for the do it yourself event planner, aside from the legal aspects of planning an event it is very helpful

The article explains why hotels have taken a new route in locks for the guests, stating that the needs of a secure stay has grown with the changes in the value of goods that each customer brings.  The article concludes with a brief description of how hotel security will evolve over the next 5-10 years.  overall i think this is a good article that explains some of the questions that many people have.

Restaurants in specific are using tablets to make serve and sell your food. the article further explains the ways in which restaurants are or will be using tablets. Lastly the article also discuses hoe "idevices" are being used in more than just restaurants, it's planned to be used in supermarkets and is currently being used in factories (chocolate factories to be exact).  This article is interesting because it gives more details about the current and future use of tablets in general. I like the fact that restaurants are using tablets to increase business and i like that in society in general technology will really start to be increased in its use. However how will this effect all the non tech savvy people?

The article also discusses energy efficient lighting.  Along with discussing these processes, the article explains that its not easy to be green in this sector, but the hotel industry now has a new environmental conscience. This being great for hotels. its one step in opening a new way to help get our environment back to where it needs to be and with there being such a large scale of hotels why not get them in the best order that we can get them.

This in my opinion is def a great for the chinese, seeing that they have a great deal of travel going out its great that they can have a low cost site that helps find the best deals for travels.

This article is about the wireless networks within hotels today and how there are many hackers that are breaking into the hotels networks. It discusses how hackers target hotel networks more than any other destination in previous years, and that what is even worse is that the hotels that have been hacked didn't have any knowledge of the hacking that has been done for more or less than 160 days. This article also gives insight of some of the possible things to do to prevent hacking from happening.  I feel that this article although it is 3 years dated, is of great importance to most hospitality industry businesses. There is much information that is stored and transported through many networks that can cause a company to loose everything they have worked for if put into the wrong hands. 

This article is about the incorporation of new technologies such as a tablet in restaurants. It discusses how using the new software's and services cut down waiting times within the restaurants and is generating more business. The article also explains through the point of view from managers that using these technologies have improved the flow of work in specific restaurants.  Using these new technologies is a good idea for the restaurants to use because it simplifies things for the customer. Although some people may not have text messaging, it benefits those that do. An example is in a shopping plaza that has restaurants or even in a mall; with this new technology if the wait is long customers do not have to stand in one section just to wait for a seat. These customers can walk around without the worry of being out of signal for the buzzer to go off.
