Spelling City helps students with their vocabulary. Students can make flash cards and develop their own vocabulary tests. They can play games involving new vocabulary words to help expose them to unfamiliar words and gain practice using them.
Daily news articles written at multiple levels of complexity in order to provide a text that is accessible to students with ranges of abilities. Just click the appropriate Lexile on the right side of the page. There is an optional quiz for each article, and an ability to assign articles and track activity for groups of students.
Mighty Books contain animated story books, songs, sing a longs and games. There are also activities to help students practice their letters and writing new words. Finally, there are also resources for teachers and parents to access in assisting with comprehension and reading.
