This website provides news articles written for students in grades 2-8. Articles are about current events in news, entertainment, science technology-environment-animals-health, arts, sports and politics. These articles are great resources for students to read with educators in the classroom and parents at home.

Daily news articles written at multiple levels of complexity in order to provide a text that is accessible to students with ranges of abilities. Just click the appropriate Lexile on the right side of the page. There is an optional quiz for each article, and an ability to assign articles and track activity for groups of students.
