Another great site on things archaeological. Archaeologists seem to be making even better use of the possibilities the net has opened up than historians. This site provides some good quality, free services.

A site with information regarding Stone Age England.

Henri loves his tree-ring dating and that's why he set up this site with all things dendrochronological. Would be useful if you're doing archaeology with your students (it's customary in Queensland for year 11 students to do a unit on that).

Would be good for elementary/primary or middle school student research for a project or class activity or something like that.

Doesn't have a whole lot of material (most of it seems to be illustrations and reconstructions rather than primary sources - understandable I guess given the paucity of material culture) yet given the scarcity of materials on the topic I thought it was worth saving. A fascinating topic for students.

He was constantly worried about conspiracies against himself, and despite the many moral homilies he gave, favored violence in dealing with any one suspected of plotting against him or associated with the conspirators. "
