Clipe System Of A Dilma vira hit no twitter - 0 views

  •

Civility Please - 13 views

But we can still be civil. It's easy. We can trade ideas instead of insults. We can vow to not say things online we wouldn't say to someone's face. We can put away our phones and pay attention. We can think before we speak or hit send. Join us and spread the word.

"arr writes: "Gove and his advisers - either through stupidity or mischievousness - failed to place me, my website, or the lesson into its appropriate context. His criticisms betray a lack of knowledge, understanding, and interpretation that would make a GCSE history student blush with shame.""

Even though this is a wiki I've found this site useful for getting images to use for PowerPoints, assignment sheets, etc. It can be a bit hit-and-miss but is usually pretty good, I reckon.

Has headlines and links to sites on newsworthy historical topics. It doesn't look searchable though, which means the content might be a bit hit-and-miss.

History in Dispute: Charlottesville and Confederate Monuments | Teaching with the News ... - 9 views

Hi Mary, Thank you for this amazing share. Down here in Australia there has been a similar event regarding monuments in the news, just after the Charlottesville monument events unfolded. We can definately incorporate and contextualise this for Australia as a combined or global event. A link to an Australian news article that could also be utilised to expand young American minds in understanding that this is a global issue also. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-08-26/australia-day-argument-intensifies-as-vandals-hit-captain-cook/8845064 Thanks again Faye Goodwin pre service teacher

Dear Faye, Thank you for your comment and the link you posted. It will be interesting to look at this as a global issue. Recently I also saw some articles about similar events in Canada. Hope you have a good school year! Mary
