As an initiative to promote and encourage students in sports the management provided a platform for the students of Hindustan University (Best Chennai Engineering Colleges) by organizing Bay Range International Sports Camp (BRISC 2011) for 90 students from 5th to 12th August 2011. The students were trained by 12 international coaches working with Athletes in Action, USA. It was founded in 1966 and their motto is to build on society's great love of sports and utilize the platform given to the athletes.

Each and every forthcoming sports event was given deserving respect and thorough attention followed by enormous training to the students. One such enthusiastic sports supportive activity of Hindustan University....

Geethu Anna Jose , the first ever Indian Basketball player has been invited to attend the Training conducted by Women's National Basketball Association, Chicago Sky and LA Sparks from 21-24th April 2011. She is the first Indian Player to get this rare and prestigious opportunity .
