Veteran actor Sunny Deol has spent three decades in the film industry feels that the current phase in film industry is being strange as nowadays little importance is been given to content, and marketing, on the flip side has become dominant. "Earlier films had content, but these days films lack content. At times people say they didn't like a film, but that film ends up making money. It was his film itself which inspired him to change, "Change is basically inspired by the tagline of the film - badla nahi badlaav - you have to change yourself."So, I thought why not bring a change in myself first. In today's time, it is important to reach out to the audience. So we have to do promotions. So, why not enjoy the whole process? I thought, let's have fun. The show is a Hindi adaption of American series with same name. Written by Rensil D'Silva and Bhavani Iyer, directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Anil Kapoor Films, it will premiere on the Viacom co-owned Colors channel on 4th October 2013.

In the past we have seen Chetan Bhagat’s books making it big whenever adapted for silver screen. There has been screen-adaptation of his books like Five Point Someone (3 Idiots) One Night At A Call Centre (Hello), Three Mistakes of My Life (Kai Po Che), and 2 States is still under the production.And now, the latest buzz has that another of his book will be adapted on big screen. This time Bhagat has teamed up with Disney UTV, for his latest bestseller Revolution 2020, which is to be directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. For those unaware, the novel talks down the lives of three childhood friends, Gopal, Raghav and Aarti."It is an intense love story set against the backdrop of corruption in the education sector, which affects millions across the country. I can't wait for the three characters to be cast and brought to life," said Bhagat. On his part, Raj Kumar says, "When I read the novel, I was quite moved. It is a very simple and heartfelt story about being young, being confused, being in love, getting corrupt... I am looking forward to writing and directing this book for the screen."Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, adds, "We are excited to have played the catalyst in bringing Chetan and Raj Kumar together. Chetan had shared the draft of his book with us even before it was published and we instantly reacted to its cinematic potential. It has an incredibly well-graphed storyline and the issues it deals with are those that today's youth will instantly relate to and identify with." The screenplay of the film is currently underway and is expected to go on floors mid-2014.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited concert Shah Rukh Khan & Friends: Temptation Reloaded Live in Malaysia 2013 has been re-scheduled. It was slated for 11 October, 2013, but now due to some logistic and security issues following US President Barrack Obama’s visit on the 10th and 11th October in Malaysia, it has been postponed till next year. Further, the visit of Obama has also get cancelled.  Concert organizing spokesperson, O. Kumaraguru, said, “We have postponed and the decision will not be pulled back.” Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak also announced that Obama has postponed his visit due to the temporary US government shutdown. Kumaraguru explained, “If Obama had announced his delay earlier, perhaps the concert could have taken place on the fixed date. The Shah Rukh Khan & Friends concert is now scheduled to take place before April 2014 and the exact date is expected to be announced by the end of this month.”According to the statement, this (postponement) was due to security reasons, which was brought up following the date of the president’s visit to Malaysia being close to the date of the concert. The statement explains that Obama’s visit also raised logistic issues, which may affect the concert.Concert organizers further expressed their regret over the postponement and stated that who had purchased the ticket can get their refund.

It is for the first time when Dabangg star took the brush in hand and figured out a painting for a film. On tha fateful night of November 30, Hollywood actor Paul Walker passed away in crash, which took place after a charity car show in Santa Clarita, California. Undoubtedly, it came as a huge shock for the entire world, as the Fast and Furious star was a big name worldwide.And now the latest the sources have managed to gather has that the star-actor’s family is keen to honour tha late actor in a special away and plans to hold his funeral in a grand scale. Walker was aged 40 when he died.The autopsy report said that the actor died from traumatic and thermal injuries following his horrific car crash. However, his family is yet to come in terms with his sudden demise. Now the family is looking forward to bid an emotional final goodbye to Paul. "They have not decided when the funeral will take place, it is still a work in progress," said a source. "They want to make sure that everyone who wants to mourn will be together and all schedules match. They hopefully will have more of an idea next week," the source added. We hope his family successfully copes up with the big jolt!

Shilpa Shetty said, "We are very excited about our very first production. The film is scheduled to release Jan 10, 2014.
