My decision to go bald in Haider was justified to my look in the film, says Shahid Kapoor! - 0 views

  • Many must have heard that for his upcoming Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider, actor Shahid Kapoor has agreed to go bald for the film. So talking about it recently actor Shahid said that his decision to do the same was driven by the fact that the look is necessary for his role in the movie.For those unaware, Haider is the adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. "I thought it is justified. When I read the script, I found it very interesting and I have tried to do something shocking whenever I have worked with Vishal. With him I have always tried to do something different," the actor said at a promotional event of his upcoming release R...Rajkumar on Friday. Meanwhile, at the same time, Shahid confessed that his best performance was in Vishal’s Kaminey, which came out in 2009.  "He is a phenomenal director. He has given me Kaminey. It has been the most appreciated role of my life till now. It's great working with him again. It has been a lot of fun," said Shahid, who stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film.We hope that the film changes things for Shahid, professionally!

Hollywood star Paul Walker no more! - 0 views

  • Hollywood actor Paul Walker's death has came as a shock for everyone. A statement from his Facebook page announced that he had been a passenger in a friend’s car when it crashed just north of Los Angeles.The 40-year-old star of the Fast and the Furious films had been attending a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide at the time. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said officers found a red Porsche engulfed in flames.The two people inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene. A statement issued by Universal Pictures said they were “heartbroken” by the news and that they sent their “deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family”.Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to express their sorrow and grief. Varun Dhawan wrote "Can't believe Paul walker is gone. Life is crazy. Don't know why but this news has really depressed me. RIP Paul Walker". Preity Zinta expressed, "So sad to hear that Paul Walker died a fast and furious death in an accident in LA. Life is so short and fragile. May his soul rest in peace."Walker was best known for his role as Brian O'Conner in The Fast and The Furious and died in a car accident Saturday in Santa Clarita, California. He was 40.

Jaya Bachchan, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Avinash Prabhavalkar, Adinath Mangeshkar, Hema Bhosle, Shruti Bhosle, Ashok Kumar Saraf, Pravin Kumar Saraf and a horde of others graced the occasion.The open air venue of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya resonated with the sound of melodious music, where young Siddhant Bhosle gave the older voices a run for their money.Lata Mangeshkar however could not attend the event due to ill health. She was sweet to call on Adinath Mangeshkar's mobile to convey her inability to Amitabh Bachchan, who naturally took it in his stride and made the moments for the viewers very memorable indeed.
