The R...Rajkumar team unveiled the first ever custom comic for a Bollywood film at the Reliance Digital Store in Mumbai today. Producer Viki Rajani, director Prabhu Dheva and the lead pair- Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor - who looked all excited to present the fun-filled comic of their upcoming film, were present at the event.The storyline of the comic has been shortlisted from the entries sent by enthusiastic fans across the nation. The winners not only got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to feature in the comics, but were also invited and introduced at the launch.Talking about R...Rajkumar’s custom comic, producer Viki Rajani said "Movie marketing continues to become more innovative and with this film, we have attempted initiatives to reach across all mediums. I'm happy to have the first ever custom comic book for R...Rajkumar which involved direct participation by fans and showed their keen response and enthusiasm".Shahid and Sonakshi, ecstatic with the response the songs of the film have been receiving, said that they were eagerly looking forward to the release of the film. Shahid also danced to Gandi Baat, much to the delight of the crowd present at the event. Excited to feature in the comic for the first time, Sonakshi said "My brothers would always be reading comics and I would never be allowed to touch them. Now I'm featuring in an R…Rajkumar custom comic. I am going to take a copy home and show it to them.”R...Rajkumar is produced by Sunil Lulla of Eros International and Viki Rajani of Next gen films. Directed by Prabhu Dheva, this film is scheduled to hit cinemas on the 6th of December.

The online release of the trailer had a surprise element for Shahid’s fans. The end of the trailer has Shahid Kapoor appearing on-screen and making an engaging appeal.The result of this activity was certainly fruitful.  The trailer on YouTube has over 2 million views. The idea of Shahid’s appearance undoubtedly ensured user engagement. The activity was highly successful with over 32,000 likes, highest amongst its contemporaries (trailers of films releasing around the same time). It seems, after Ramaiya Vastavaiya’s flop show at box-office, Prabhu Deva is leaving no stone unturned to make his upcoming project a full-pack of entertainment. Earlier, it was reported that he has signed model-turned-item girl Scarlett Wilson for an item number that will feature her opposite film’s villain Sonu Sood. Now, latest report says that he also assigned its lead actress Sonakshi Sinha to flaunt her curves in a special song.Recently, Sonakshi, who was highly impressed by Vidya Balan performance in the Ekta Kapoor's The Dirty Picture, went on to shower praises on her performance in the movie. Director Prabhudheva gave this golden opportunity to Sonu Sood to play a crucial role in his film Ramaiya Vastavaiya. In the movie, Sood played lead actress Shruti Haasan's brother. And now Sood will be seen playing the main villain opposite Shahid Kapoor in R… Rajkumar."Prabhudeva has repeated Sonu in R... Rajkumar after Ramaiya Vastavaiya. While he had a very strong part to play as Shruti Haasan's brother in the latter, Sonu has been roped in as the main villain opposite Shahid Kapoor in the former. Prabhudheva finds him really non-fussy and after these two films, he plans to repeat the actor in his future outings as well," informs a source.Acknowledges Prabhudheva, "Sonu Sood is a very nice guy. He may be playing a villain in R... Rajkumar but he is a great guy. He is terrific in the film and his combination with Shahid and Sonakshi is quite remarkable. If buzz has to be believed, filmmaker Prabhu Deva has roped in London-born Scarlett Wilson for an item song for his upcoming movie R...Rajkumar, which will feature Sonu Sood along with her. The model-turned-actress earlier grooved in item number Imported Kamariya in Emraan Hashmi-Kalki Koechlin starrer Shanghai. She also gyrated to Naagin Naagin song in comedy flick Bajatey Raho. Both songs worked well at music charts and were liked by music buffs.Now, latest report says Scarlett will also shake her leg in Prabhu Deva’s action-thriller R…Rajkumar that features Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. If everything goes correct, the film’s villain Sonu Sood will be seen dancing on the item song with Wilson.  Scarlett has shot for a day for the item number. According to the sources, “After the untimely demise of Shrihari, who features in a pivotal role in the movie there is a break in the shoot of the song. Apparently, Shrihari was also a part of the song and shot for it a day before he passed away. Sonu Sood and Scarlett will gyrate when the shooting resumes this Thursday.”Let’s see if Scarlett’s presence will work in favour of the film or not. The film is releasing on December 6.

It has already been told that veteran actress Sarika and South superstar Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan is all set to make her Bollywood debut. But, despite being a great actress of her time, Sarika has no intension of sharing tips with her daughter as she believes she should find her own way."Every generation has its own working style. We can share with them what we like about cinema because I don't know anything else. I only know cinema, so I can share that. But I must let my daughter find her own way because it will be different," said Sarika."I am not nervous. I am very excited. I am very glad and thankful and it's a good time. Both my girls are okay and somewhere I feel like now things are fine. So, it is fun and learning experience to sing songs like Gandi Baat.”“I think that my voice is apt for Sonakshi Sinha and the song has come well for the actress. It was a great experience singing different song and such songs are always catchy in youngsters,” added Ritu.
