Recently, Hollywood actor Tom Hanks had made know that he is suffering from diabetes. Now the latest Hollywood star who has been diagnosed with diabetes is James Bond star Roger Moore. His latest tests have shown that he is suffering from the same disease.For the uninitiated, the diagnosis came after the 86-year-old star-actor was taken to the emergency doctor in Monaco by his wife Kristina Tholstrup, who was alarmed after he began to lose weight and was passing out recently. Putting some light on the same, Moore said, "I have got the dreaded Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks came out with the fact he has diabetes, and about four or five weeks ago I was falling asleep and just feeling terrible and dying of thirst and literally passing out." "My wife took me into emergency at Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco and I was straight on a slab... And I have diabetes. And I've obviously had it for quite a long time... During that week where I was falling asleep, my wife said I was losing a kilo a day. So, I have had to have all my trousers taken in," he added. The Oscar winner has a pacemaker which was fitted in 2003.

A follower of Swami Vivekananda's philosophy and practicer of meditation every day, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut says she is a spiritual person also who believes in prays and God. She recently visited iconic Babulnath temple and seek blessings for her upcoming film Krrish 3.“Yes I am a spiritual person, where I believe in the power that runs the universe, but have a more scientific approach. I follow Swami Vivekananda's philosophy in which the highest form of worshipping God is meditation, little lower is mala and lower than that is moorti puja. I believe in both, meditation and moorti puja. My dadi is very religious. While I meditate every day, she does her puja,” said Kangana.Expressing what a temple means to her, Kangana said, “Any religious place has that vibe and a calming effect due to the sounds of the bells. Being a celebrity it's not the same anymore, but when I was younger, I would go to a temple and just sit in a corner. In my early years in Mumbai, I would often go to the Juhu Iskcon temple and the Mukteshwar temple diagonally opposite to it.”Kangana also believes in fasting and said she used to keep fast when she was eight. “My mother used to keep navratras when I was young. I would follow her and keep them when I was eight years old. But I would often break it by eating a biscuit and then feel disheartened, as I would come to know later that a biscuit was not allowed to be eaten while fasting. This year again, I felt like fasting during navratras but could keep it only for six days, as I had to shoot and had started feeling a little weak, so did not want to take a chance,” concluded Kangana.We appreciate your thoughts Kangana!

The popular television actress Suhasi Dhami promises her fans to comeback on television dailies in the beginning of next year. After my stint in the daily soap Housewife Hai Yeh Sab Janti Hai went off air I got engrossed with this play.”About her return to small screen, Suhasi said, “There are always things in the pipeline but it takes a while for things to materialize. It is the same this time too. But well the viewers will get to see me on television next year now as I am heading for a vacation in December.”On her choice of show and character, she added, “See, television is trying to be experimental, but we all know that what work the most on TV is the saas-bahu shows. So it all depends upon the show that I am offered. If I am happy to experiment then I might take roles accordingly or else I would go with the saas-bahu saga. But I would definitely want to try my hand on negative roles.”Suhasi is popular for portraying lead characters in shows like Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli.

Veteran actress Madhoo, who is eyeing to make comeback in Bollywood films, says she would like to do work that has been done by actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. She is looking to take up challenging work.She is known for her work in films like Roja, Diljale and Phool Aur Kaante. Madhoo has already started working down South."My south films have started releasing. One film released last month and did 50 days run, so I believe it's a hit. I have signed a couple of films and will start shooting soon. I have started acting again and I am enjoying that. Hopefully I will do a Hindi film soon, waiting for right movie to come to me," said Madhoo. The actress would love to take up interesting film offers and wishes that filmmakers approach her with variety of scripts. "I don't want to say things and limit myself as an actress. I am at a juncture in my life where I can explore and do many different things. I would want producers and creative people to think of something really challenging and wonderful for me as an actress," Madhoo said."When you are younger and playing a heroine, at that time things are pretty similar - like falling in love with the hero and getting married in the end. But now the movies and characterization are different. I can do many more things than I did earlier in my life. It is like Chintuji Amitji, like they are doing fantastic roles now. Veteran actress Madhuri Dixit is all set to make a return in acting with upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya. The trailer of the film released recently and the actress sis bagging applaud for all quarters for her look as well as act in the film, which is quite visible in the trailer.The film stars Madhuri, Naseeruddin Shah, Huma Qureshi and Arshad Warsi in lead roles, and the trailer of the movie came out online on Friday (November 8, 2013). For those unaware, in the movie, Madhuri will be seen playing a dancer, Begum Para, who is an attractive dangerous woman."Dr Nene (my husband) appreciated and complimented me that I am looking good in the poster and promos of the film," said Madhuri on Friday at Sanofi's diabetes awareness event. Not only her husband, l but even her kids are excited about her film. "My kids are always excited. If they see me somewhere in a photograph also, they say 'Mom, you are in this photograph'," she said.The film has been produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The film is a sequel to the 2010 hit Ishqiya. It is based in a small town in Uttar Pradesh. Dedh Ishqiya is slated to release on January 10, 2014.

The film Shahid has had a great impact on the brother of the slain lawyer Shahid Azmi. The movie which is made on the life of Shahid Azmi has had a great impact on his brother who saw the movies on Friday.Shahid’s brother Khalid Azmi said, “Our family has gone through a lot. It's a very emotional moment for us. I have watched this film before, and yesterday I watched the film again with my family. I got very emotional. The film (tells) a part of my life, so it is very realistic and everything comes alive before my eyes.”The movie starring Rajkumar Yadav in the lead role is about the life story of Shahid Azam who was the defending lawyer of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks co-accused Faheem Ansari. He was shot dead in his office in 2010. Shahid’s brother also went on to saying that some portions of the movie were also shot in his office and colony.He said, “I provided them with all the information. I also spent a lot of time with Rajkumar and told him how Shahid used to be. They shot a few portions in his office and his colony.”This proud brother seems to have taken a lot of efforts for his dead brother and we hope for the movie to be liked by everyone who watches it.

King Khan Shah Rukh Khan is under the influence of weather change. He is suffering from fever and is said to be resting at home and watching his movies on television. Sharman Joshi and I went to Wagah Border when we were shooting for Rang De Basanti. I always had this imagination of going there after seeing Border, LOC and to know as to what happens there.”The actress will be seen playing the role of a reporter in the movie. It also stars Sharman Joshi, Jaaved Jaffrey, Dalip Tahil and Mukul Dev. The movie will hit screen son the 11th of October.
